I am currently a Communication major from Carroll University – graduating in May 2013 – and navigating my way through the professional worlds of marketing, public relations, journalism, event planning and social media.
At the moment, I am an Editorial Intern with The Waukesha Freeman – Waukesha County’s premier daily newspaper. As a member of the newsroom, I work to bring the latest news regarding Waukesha County to our readers. Currently I live in Waukesha, WI – located about 20 minutes from Downtown Milwaukee – but am originally from Madison, WI. In my spare time, I love traveling, reading, horseback riding and cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers. I’m also an active member of Chi Omega Fraternity and the Society of Professional Journalists. While I’d love to pursue a career in the marketing or communications field, I am always open to new opportunities.
